Hampshire County Masters 1st June 2013

Once again this meet will be held at the Aldershot Garrison with the pool in 25m confuguration.  This means that there is also a 25m warm up pool available throughout the meet.  Warm up is 3:00pm for 3:45 start and the meet is expected to be completed by 9:00pm.  Entry details are now available to download.  Click "More..." below.

The competition is only open to members of Hampshire clubs.

ASA South East Region Long Course Masters 2013

Once again this competition will be held at K2 Crawley.  The dates are 9th & 10th February 2013.  The entry pack is now available to download.    The programme includes a wide selection of individual events which should accommodate most requirements.

All entries must be made on-line and all payments made using credit or debit card or a PayPal account.

HCASA Continuous Professional Development Training Day 2012

Workshops include some Swim 21 compliance elements, Safeguarding and Protecting, Time to Listen and Team Managers, as well as inspirational Grow and Promote your Club with Svend Elkjaer and Manage your Coaches. Officials and Licensing open meets workshops also available.

An exciting development is the attendance of the CLUB LEADERS Learner Bus, delivering taster sessions and support to clubs on the business side of running their clubs, an exciting, not to be missed opportunity.  

The whole day event is offered to HCASA affiliated members at £ 10, including delicious lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Masters and Senior Age Group County Championships 2012

This was held on Saturday 2nd June 2012 at Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre.  This competition is open to all Masters and Seniors both Category 1 (club swimmers) and Category 2 (competitive swimmers) who belong to clubs registered with Hampshire ASA.

Hampshire Win the SER Intercounty Masters

The Hampshire Masters team beat all opposition in the South East Region Intercounty Masters at Guildford Sportpark on 13th November 2011 and won the Tony Warn Masters Trophy, beating last year's winners, Middlesex, into second place.  When consolidated with the national results involving 30 other counties Hampshire came 4th in the country, their best performance since the competition was started in 2000.

Individual results, including team splits, and the national results are now available to download.

HCASA December Meeting

The December meeting of HCASA took place on Wednesday 1st December, 7pm-9pm at Cranbourne School, Wessex Close, Basingstoke RG21 3NP, Room F6.

This meeting included:

  • Inauguration of HCASA President for 2011, Mike Lambert (Basingstoke Bluefins SC)
  • Update on progress over the last 6 months in all disciplines
  • Discussion on possible changes to constitution
  • Nibbles and time to socialise
