HCASA is committed to Disability Swimming.  The County championships include multi-disability events and the County provides support to competitions provided by other organisations.

Holiday Inn Winchester Sunday 1st September 2013

A fantastic opportunity for all aquatics clubs to attend workshops, gain valuable ideas on running, growing and supporting all club activities, and network with others.

Workshops include some Swim 21 compliance elements, Safeguarding and Protecting, Time to Listen and Team Managers. Officials FINA update also available.

All available to members of HCASA Clubs for just £10 for the day (2 workshops/seminars) including lunch!

An exciting development is the attendance of the CLUB LEADERS Learner Bus, delivering taster sessions and support to clubs on the business side of running their clubs, an exciting, not to be missed opportunity.  

The whole day event is offered to HCASA affiliated members at £ 10, including delicious lunch and refreshments throughout the day. HCASA December Meeting

The December meeting of HCASA took place on Wednesday 1st December, 7pm-9pm at Cranbourne School, Wessex Close, Basingstoke RG21 3NP, Room F6.

This meeting included:

  • Inauguration of HCASA President for 2011, Mike Lambert (Basingstoke Bluefins SC)
  • Update on progress over the last 6 months in all disciplines
  • Discussion on possible changes to constitution
  • Nibbles and time to socialise

Sporting Apprentices Graduate

Ninety-four top athletes from the world of aquatics – including double Olympic Gold medallist Becky Adlington – graduated from the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) on Saturday 28th March. Two athletes from the county were honoured with “Advanced Apprentice of the Year” awards.

Important Changes to ASA National Championships 2007

The dates for the ASA National Championships, National Youth Championships and National Age Group Championships have been changed. The change also affects the age qualifying dates for these championships.  More information is available on the British Swimming website.
